Grain Free Porridge

One thing I really missed while treating SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth), was a steaming bowl of porridge for brekky. So I came up with this: Grain-Free "Porridge". It's just as warming, nourishing and yummy as oats but without the bloating and tiredness I get from eating grains. Yay! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Ingredients

1 cup coconut or almond milk

1 banana

1 cup coconut or almond milk

1/2 cup hazelnut or almond meal

1/4 cup desiccated coconut

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla powder

Here's what you do...

1. Blend all the ingredients together.

2. Heat in a pan on the stovetop until warmed through.

3. Top with berries/coconut/nuts/fruit.
